Front & Rear Mud Flaps

Post by bogner17 » Sun Aug 02, 2020 7:06 pm

I've been searching around the forums regarding front and rear mud flaps. I own a white 2017 Xe Sport R Sport and its a nightmare to keep clean.

I've been seriously considering purchasing front and rear mud flaps to try and help with the problem.

I have checked around Ebay and the like but can't seem to find anywhere that supplies a set that would fit my model.

Does anyone know anywhere online I can purchase set that you have used yourself?

Thanks in advance!

I have had Jaguar OEM mud flaps on both of my XEs.
You can order them online Jaguar, or if you have a good relationship with your local dealer, you should be able to get them slightly cheaper in person. That’s what I did :D

I may have a set of used mudflaps for you to buy. I'll send you a DM

Edit: I can't send DMs apparently yet, presumably because I'm new to the forum.

I should be picking up my 66 plate XE RSport this week, which has mudflaps on and I'd be happy to sell them to you. I don't know the condition or if they are OEM so I'll report back on that, but they will obviously be used. If they were fitted at new they will have around 29k on them but I'll give them a clean and see what sort of condition they are in.

Hi, just a point to be careful of - when I fitted (from dealer) rear mudflaps to mine I had to drill holes in back wing, so suggest you check that before you take them off.

Which side was drilled, paint side or inner wheel arch side?

If you follow this link to instructions it will show you where holes are drilled, through the paint on rear wings.

Thanks for sharing that, helpful to know. When I saw them on one was hanging off slightly and it looked they had tiger seal / sealant behind it instead of tape. Fingers crossed someone had the thought not to drill holes but to tiger seal them on with the one inner bolt instead of drilling holes!!
