XE-S 2017
Drivers wiper not so good.
Contemplated 3rd party fitting - based on my experiences of decades ago = a disaster.

Found advice on this forum.
Purchased replacements: Bosch Aerotwin Pack of two for both front wiper replacement.
Delivered in a few days. Removed old and fitted both new replacements in less than 2 minutes - seriously; it was that quick. Click in and out.
eBay - search for: Jaguar XE Front Windscreen Wiper Blade Set 2015 Onwards BOSCH AEROTWIN
£22.95 for the pair.

Sorry to resurect this old post but this week I noticed that my drivers side blade is not clearing well in the middle. I have ordered the 28" and 17" Bosch blades from ebay at £23.67 delivered.
I have exactly the same issue with mine. Just in light rain. If it’s raining more heavily, the driver’s side clears perfectly.

Is this a common occurrence with this type of blade? The would appear to wear more at the pivot point where they join to the arm.

No I don't think so as the replacement Bosch blades are still doing a good job even though I bought a new set about 3 months back as a back up.

I took the Halford's recommendation for mine, and they are fine.
DON'T use the Service Position for changing.
I did, and it got bored half way through, and bounced the passenger arm (bladeless) onto the screen and cracked it.
Heated screen as well!
My local dealer told me they don't use the Service Position - just change them when parked.

Yes. I changed mine for Bosch in the parked position. Easy job.

Unfortunately she's had to go so I'm an ex XE owner.

Did have two X Types, a 2.5L then a 2.2L Auto with the dreaded DPF. No more DPF's for me.

Top tip, Red.
I was just heading off to Halfords - £25 for the drivers side, £18 for the passenger.
The pair off of the Ebay for £21.95 delivered to my home.

Thanks y'all.

The Jag is enjoying staycation with trips to Aberaeron and Cardigan (which, amazingly, doesn't have a Cardigan Museum of Cardigans).
