LED indicators and reverse light bulbs - results

Bought some direct-fit LED bulbs on Amazon, here's how they fared...

Top to bottom:
Brake lights
Reverse lights
Front indicators
Rear indicators

Brake Lights:

These did not work at all! No life whatsoever, and I had two packs! Tried in both orientations, just in case, but no.
I've contacted the sellers but they've not responded, so I guess I'll just do an amazon return.

Reverse lights:

These are great, no issues with these at all, the pics below I dimmed the sensitivity of the phone camera to try and capture as best I could, love them.

There's not a huuuuge difference with these, a "cleaner" flash maybe, maybe a bit more orange in colour? The rears are nice and bright, but unlikely to blind people behind you.
Rear bulbs no need for load resistor, worked out of the pack.
Front bulbs, no errors, the outside flash was fine - but inside suffered with hyperflash, so the indicator on the instrument panel was flashing at 2 or 3 times the normal amount, even though outside they were flashing as normal.
This was solved with a load resistor on each side, so all as normal now.
Tried to capture as best as I could in video below

Hope this is of help to anyone considering

What kind of load resistor did you use and pics of the installation?

I used these, again from Amazon.
I'll try and grab a pic later (it's a storm here at the moment)
Basically I tapped into the wires of the loom before it enters the headlight assembly, one end of the resistor on the indicator "positive" and one end on the associated ground.
The resistor I just cable tied to some bare metal just beside the headlight assembly (there's loads of room - drivers side!) - I didnt wanna start drilling tbh, so I'll keep an eye on the cable tie and see how it performs, they're pretty good with temperature, but we'll see.

The passenger side you'll need to remove the airbox (which is no big deal), and tap into the wires of the loom which is a bit tighter on this side, so peel back some of the loom tape as needed. Again I tie wrapped it to bare metal beside headlight assembly, don't be tempted to put it under the airbox, there'll be zero airflow if the airbox is resting on it.

I tried the same but stayed with standard as would have had to splice a resistor in on them all.

The reverse light is definitely worth doing though.
