Re: My XE

Have you got wheel spacers on? They look much more flush in the arches than standard

Re: LED indicators and reverse light bulbs - results

I tried the same but stayed with standard as would have had to splice a resistor in on them all.

The reverse light is definitely worth doing though.

Re: Bonnet will not release

I had this issue on my last XE. The latch pulls with no tension.

Sent back to Jaguar on extended warranty, they put the car on the ramp and popped it from underneath. 1 new latch and cable later it was fixed.

Re: Finally an owner

I'm planning on retrofitting the full extended ambient lighting just finding the right parts at the moment. I've added some useful guides and mods be...

Re: Detailing

Take it easy on the rear arch sills when polishing, its normal for heavy stone chipping there. Other than that, Jag paint is soft so try follow the 2 bucket method and a nice pre-wash/snow foam to get the bulk of the dirt off and minimise swirling. The rear door sills will also always get filthy, no...

Re: XE S Back box delete

This is of the supercharged v6, it is still using the stock exhaust just with the resonators removed.

The 4 cylinders won't sound the same though you're right.

Re: corroded propellers

Go with gloss black, its the S model so it will look good and wont look lost with the bigger brakes behind the spokes. https://www.in2detailing.co.uk/products/carbon-collective-platinum-wheels-ceramic-coating make sure to put some sort of wheel coating on for darker colours as you will have to clean...

Re: Stolen :(

If you get it back or get another, the secure tracker from jag incontrol is worth it. They call you within minutes if the alarm goes off and the tracker is built into the car. Has anyone done a ghost immobiser requiring a button sequence for startup?
